But what happens when you do something to the engine (like a supercharger or turbo) and void the warranty and it goes boom?

Im still trying to figure out how long I'll be in Japan, If it's long then I might just pick up a 86 GT spec over here. If not then when I com back I plan on getting a BRZ sometime in 2014. My father has a Silver FRS on order, and he wants me to get an FRS with him but that's up in the air for me. I should have something or another by next year for sure. Did you pick yours up yet?

I plan on modding at some point, but for the first few months it will be stock. I like to wait a bit to see what others are doing, and get their take before doing things right from the start.

I'll keep mine mostly stock except for tires, pads, and a set of Hella Supertones.

While the RCE T1s on my LGT are great on the track, the day to day around town is a bit much. We'll see though, we'll see.

I will not touch drive train for a long while. There is plenty to learn on stock car.

Will upgrade some electronics though, sound, rear view camera (for safer garage parking), antenna mods, DVD\Nav mods, tint.

Nothing drastic - car will look and operate like a stock car.

Ah at least you're getting one eventually. As for mine it's still on the waitlist

I only plan to get a set of aftermarket wheels. If an STI version (or whatever they wind up calling it) is released with more power from the factory in a few years I will just be trading in for it anyway.

I'm going total stock for the life of the car...outside of the audio head unit. I feel like it will maintain its value and when I'm older it will be a nice 'classic car'.

Probably just an intake in the first year if they provide worthwhile gains. Exhaust and tune probably somewhere down the road. I'm debating lowering springs...never had a lowered car. Might not be a good idea with our bad winters and horrible roads in NE Ohio.

Oh and snow tires...but I don't consider that a mod!

I plan to keep it mostly stock. Will most likely do a bigger Front Sway Bar for better turn in for Stock Class AutoX. Most likely won't be doing the Rear Sway Bar over the Front Bar, as it will already be snappy and capable of rotation being RWD. Lighter Wheels for Racing R-Comp Tires, but will have stock wheels for DD. Factory Camber bolts listed in the Service Manual and a Catback Single exit exhaust for weight loss.

I think that is about it, car will look pretty much stock. Exhaust will be the last part to buy as the other bits are more important.

I will most like keep mine stock until it is paid off. I've never had a car payment before, so I figure money spend on mods will be better spent making the car mine! After it's paid off, Motegi Traklite 17x8 + Star Specs would be nice, followed by a decent exhaust/intake.

Yes, I am going to leave the engine stock and not mess with anything that would void warranty. Although, the car looks like a 4x4 stock, so first thing is suspension for aesthetics and I am a road racer so this will improve the handling as well. The exhaust looks like two tiny pea shooters and doesn't have much of a growl, once again personal preference, and these are basic bolt ons. Not planning on any major mechanical stuff, I think the car is great the way it was designed.
