I was looking at a Mercedes C63 AMG a few weeks ago, didnt end up gettin it, bought somethin else instead, price tag of $150k Australian. (which equates to $120k US, yes they overcharge us here!!!)
Doesnt make u a douche, makes u a hard workin person whos poud of your accomplishments,(assuming your an honest person lolol)

get off ya high horse and be proud of your own stuff not put down others!

if youve got nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all.

Nice trade man. No jelly here. You made the same change I'll be making eventually, however I'll be stepping in to a base model, non-S, although brand new.

I like the Cayman, but can't deal with only having two seats.

We got a MPP warranty so our lawyer has someone to mail a letter to if the motor dies and we have claim that doesn't cover the costs, I'm not looking for surprises and while we do okay we aren't exactly rich
You don't owe anyone an explanation. Congrats on the purchase. You have good taste.

IF I ever get rid of the FRS, it'll be replaced with a Porsche.

911 is my dream car but I cannot afford it. So I brought the poor mans JDM Porsche instead. Congrats for the up trade! But I am curious, why not get a m3?

Dafuq? An M3 is an entirely different car, that's why. They were pretty obviously staying in the small, H-engine coupe range.

Nice upgrade - Porsche is going to be my next move as well, will definitely be going for new though as maintenance on a Porsche after warranty is out gets pretty expensive, unless you have a trusty mechanic hookup that will cut you a deal.

Enjoy the cars and best wishes - always enjoyed your contributions to this forum and made some of my mod choices based on your feedback.

See you on the Porsche forums in a year or two!

Comparing engineering and amenities of a used $60K car to a new $30k car is nonsensical.

Who gives a crap who bought what when for whatever reason? This is an auto forum. It's OK to have more than one car. Geez.

Anyway OP - nice choice in cars. Thanks for posting them. It's interesting to see what other vehicles twin drivers have.

I wouldn't call that bragging, I'd call it encouragement for us to all work hard enough to afford more expensive sports cars

Well, I'm certainly a bit envious, as evidenced by my thread in the VS section. I think a 911 might be in my future, too (albeit an 8-10yr-old one). I love the 991 but it's certainly not in the cards at the moment. Heck, even a 997 S is a stretch but if I sell the 93 octane-swilling, insurance policy-killing, wallet-denting RS6 and replace it with a more reasonable daily I think I can swing it

Nice! Its definitely my dream to upgrade to a nice P car, M car or Lotus next but too expensive for my wages I think.

Oh TRUST me, a e46 with ZPP and ZCP is high up on the buy list, actually considering one as we speak, if I can swing the funds etc, they aren't cheap cars anymore, if you deal with the one shop that has all the nice ones out of Ohio you pay between 29k and 32k for one equipped with the bigger brakes and faster steering from factory

If you skip the ZCP cars you can add bbk later and so long as you buy 04 up the suspension is the same, with wheels being the only item you need to add back to a non ZCP(I need to pick between the faster rack on en track and cruise control off, but that's how one car is lighter than the other, tho not by much

I had a a stage 3/4 dinan m3 before my BRZ crush and it was simply neural connection to asphalt, the very same thing that makes a human smile when they drive a 86
