Hey! That's my car you have quoted there! I actually found this thread because I've been considering a roof basket instead (moving the Inno to the wife's outback). Is that the Loadwarrior you have there? How do you like it? Your pics of the fit helps out alot. I'm alot more confident about getting it, thanks!

Yes sir, it is the loadwarrior. I like it, except it take two people to put it on and it's quite heavy. I dinged my roof trying to put in on myself.

Interesting, the main reason I was leaning towards the roof basket was that it looked a lot lighter than the fully enclosed roof box, which is definitely a two person job.

I'm considering this Curt roof rack since its about half the price of the Yakima considering and I'm only planning on using it a few times a year.

@08stiguy and @BigFatFlip How do these hold up over time? I am moving from Maine to Texas, and getting a cargo pod seemed kinda appealing. And having a rack for things like kayaks or trips to IKEA.

Are you planning on using the cargo pod to MOVE to TX? I've taken relatively long road trips (~4-6 hrs on the freeway) with out any issues. I did notice that my window trim pieces, which the Q-tower mounts hook onto, start to deflect/flex after being attached for a while (longest I've had it on was a long weekend, around 4 days). I've found that after a couple of days, the trim goes back to normal, so I'm ok with that since my roof rack and cargo box only go on the car when I need them.

Overall, still pretty happy with my set-up and will continue to use it (until its REALLY time for a larger car )

Hope that helps!

I agree. For a couple of days it's fine. But I wouldn't keep it there permanently. Also, make sure when putting it on you have someone help you. I have a couple of small dings do to me trying to put it on myself hahaha.

Ok, thanks guys!

Yeah, I would be using the pod to move. I went to school there, so the big stuff is already in storage down there, and I'll rent a truck for that. But the pod would be for relatively light and bulky stuff like bedding and clothes. Heavy stuff will stay in the cabin/trunk. But from the sound of things, it may make more sense to just leave some stuff behind and pick it up when I fly up for weddings or holidays.

Dude, this is the wrong section to try and sell stuff. Make an add in the classified section.
