Was the trooper driving a special Virginia ONLY FRS/BRZ pursuit vehicle? Cuz that's one hell of a story if it caught up and kept in pace with the GT3

Wow, that's bullshit. I had a cop pull me over here in Dallas, he didn't know how fast I was going just that just that he was doing 90 and I was still pulling away. He asked and I told him I was doing 103 (which was as high as I saw the speedo). No ticket, just a friendly warning.

i dont see any real story here. some guy drove fast, got pulled over, and went to court and took his lumps. ive been in exact same situation and didnt get news coverage lol

The story is Virginia has abnormally (some might say unnecessarily so) draconian speeding laws.

Should have went to VIR, I love that place.

Yea sucks but glad to hear sometimes the rich pay just the same as us mortals. I'm facing losing my license right now too, and no it wasn't Werth it.

Skyline drive sucks, the speed limit is 35, it's patrolled, and you always get stuck behind slow people.

There are some great roads in VA though.
