Steering wheel.. anyone else bothered by.. - Page 2 - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I like the steering wheel.. actually i would replace the silver plastic with metal if they will make that in the future.. I would also like to see a flat bottom wheel.. not like the one on the tC, but perhaps like the Audi TT?? Also would like radio controls on the wheel.. i'm sure that will happen next year.. lol My 05tC didnt have the controls either.. but the next year... grrrr.. lol So perhaps when i get my 2014 FR-S.. they will offer it..

I was looking at it and maybe with a small little flat bottom it might look better but I love the way it looks already.

I just like the fact that my Subaru's oval emblem doesn't say "Ford"

Been driving my FR-S for a week with a big hole where the radio is supposed to go. Dealership was out of the standard units, and I don't want the optional BeSpoke nonsense. Driving the car with any enthusiasm is so engaging that no other entertainment is necessary. More knobs/buttons/conveniences would only serve to dilute the experience. I've obsessed, saved, and bought this car exactly because it isn't a marvel of modern compromise and mediocrity.

I've driven the car and yes.. the exhaust is very compelling.. I didn't have the radio on at all.. but I would like the controls.. anything that doesn't make me look down or away from the windshield is a good thing in my book. Congrats on your new ride! Glad you are enjoying it!!
