Even with the angled incline attack method mine has a few marks! Not a problem though as the only time anybody can see it is when I do a wheelie for several blocks!
Cant wait to see how many people on here ask "how do you do that?" even though it is obviously fiction! |

Mine scraped bad when entering the Carousel at Nordschleife. Lowered, and you get really pushed into the concrete as you enter. Other than that, only the dealership managed to scrape it when takign it off the truck prior to delivery. They touched it up then, delayed delivery two days.

As stated before most are just scraping. Most PU lips designed for the FR-S bumper are no more than an inch thick and don't make the front bumper's clearance any lower. Unless they're constantly running into curbs when parking their car, they're better off scraping the shit out of a lip than buying a new bumper and trying to paint match it.

I'm on stock suspension and there are tons of driveways that when even taken slowly here in LA I still hear the awful sound of my car scrapping against concrete. Makes me afraid to lower my car even though I really want to drop an inch for looks.

Not a problem for me.
I can't see under there if I'm standing in front of the car; it's hard for me to bend over that far ..... and if I do, my tri-focals don't seem to have a focus for that distance .... then I stand up and get dizzy and worry more about passing out rather than a few scratches .....that I cant see ![]() humfrz |

All I have to say is be glad you don't have these where you live. In my part of town these hunking pieces of mental big as a turtle are the turn lane markers. Finally got around to take photos of them. I have been a lot of places and do not see these anywhere outside my part of Dallas. If you hit one going more than a crawl you it mess up your car up!
Between these and all the steep driveways and hills where I live you will f*ck up your car if it is lowered. Funny, I almost see no lowered cars around here. At my local Wendys they have a huge dip and you have to go sideways or else say goodbye to the front bumper and then when you pull out Wendy's you have to negotiate these things to get in the turn lane. At my Chase I can't use one of the exit because I will bottom out where it hits Skillman. The steep streets and hills are ridiculous here in Lake Highlands. I guess since Dallas is 90% flat, in the area that does have lots of hills, they say the hell with it don't care about inclines and cross streets. My favorite is when you can go airborne driving 35 mph because of the dips when two streets cross and no sign to warn you. ![]() ![]()
