With 27 kilometers on the odo... SMH

OK, maybe it's just the trip odo... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt...

Just because the coolant is up to temp doesn't mean the engine oil is.

I know. Same with the tranny fluid temp.

This guy gives off the impression he's a bit of a spoilt brat. Is he hitting the rev limiter at the beginning of the vid? is that why it was kinda stuttering?

Also the car seemed so slow on the straight when he was gunning it lol. is that becuz of the auto?
No, it's because the car IS slow.

Also, my first car out of college was a 2004 WRX. I bought it new, but it had ~460 miles on it. It was a dealer test drive car. I bought that car despite my better judgement, and can you tell where this story is going to end? Of course you do! It ends with my dumbass buying a new short-block at 45,000 miles because it was never broken in properly.

As I watched the video, I couldn't help but think, "Huh, that's more than likely what happened to my WRX. I really want to slap the taste out of that kids mouth right now."

Was the car in warranty still? Did you have to pay anything out of pocket?

Remember rule #1 in life: Nothing in life is so bad that it couldn't get worse. The warranty was only 3 year/36,000 miles. Like I said, watching that kid made me want to ram my elbow down his throat.

I wonder if his parents are going to have to be the ones paying for his stupidity later.
