You'd be surprise, but the limited production and supply of BRZ in BC has resulted in sold outs for the 2014. Already tried Monogram --> 2014 BRZ --> 2015 brz. thats where im at now haha

I already made a down-payment (refundable) on the 2015 brz, however i noticed that the 2014 FR-S are on mad sale.

+2000 dollar cash incentive (which i plan to do anyways) + 1000 grad rebate (vs. brz 750)

Plus, fr-s is already slightly cheaper.

As it is now, i could get the 18' TRD wheels + Exhaust system, and still be cheaper than the BRZ!

As of now, the ETA of my 2015 BRZ is in september, so aanother bonus is no more waiting!

However,

the cons are: no subie , no push start + hid+led +keyless entry + leather seats + heated seats + auto climate + heated mirrors + crystal white pearl

Is it worth the trade off? and What would you do!
Like RogerLockless said... it's pretty much the same car, why spend more? Granted, it sounds like you are concerned about the creature comforts. So paying extra makes sense if those features are important enough to you to justify the cost/wait.

Otherwise, save the money and get an FR-S. They also have stiffer spring rates, you know... because race car.

IMO the stuff you get on the Sport-Tech is worth it if you care. Otherwise I'd just get a base FRS.

I personally chose a Sport-Tech BRZ..... because of the "toggle" switches for the climate control. The other stuff is awesome too lol. I just feel like I'm spending most of the time with the car inside, I prefer the small luxuries. This is also the first car I've ever owned worth more than $1500, so I kinda-sorta went all out.

Come to the meets and see them in person and ask around. Maybe you'll have a better idea afterwards...

I went with a base FRS and haven't regretted a thing, nice using that extra cash for things that were important to me like exhaust, intake, etc...

Sounds like you want the BRZ more due to the interior so i would wait if i was you. You just sound like your impatient and want the FRS because it can be available now as apposed to waiting...I would forget what everyone is saying about cheaper whats a couple thousand when your spending over 20k anyways. Get what will make you happier because your stuck with that decision at least for awhile

*my opinion*
Besides TRD FRS is ugly IMO..the whole kit the wheels and the exhaust lol..if you want manufacturer parts STI makes better looking parts...and this is coming from a FRS owner lol

The price you'll pick up the FR-S for is insanely good! If you want luxury, even the BRZ isn't up to par to other modern cars. Let's face it, this car isn't luxury so why waste the money on trying to make it that way. Go with the FR-S and your driving experience will be the same.
