Don't fill up with gas any more then a quarter of a tank. Doing so will significantly increase 1/4 mile times.

you mean decrease.

start with a catback exhaust.

Then talk to harry about two bottles of nitrous and get some extra bolts for your passenger floorboard.

Increase, you'll be heavier with more than 1/4 of a tank.

Swap your Scion badges for Toyota ones. Everyone knows Toyota's are so much faster. And JDM.

Seriously this car is faster than 90% of what's on the road without trying.

If you want a car that gives you whiplash and smokes the tires in third gear you bought the wrong car, trade it in already. If you really want to be faster go to track days and get some coaching.

No amount of money can fix the nut behind the wheel and you'll save yourself a ton of money buying the car you actually want in the first place.

Therefor having a 1/4 tank of gas will DECREASE your 1/4 mile time because the car is lighter. Decreasing your 1/4 mile time, lower time= faster car.

I never understood that. Why would your floorboard A) be bolted in, and B) randomly fall out? Most of that movie I could enjoy with a little suspension of disbelief, but that part was just strange.

"OMG! I'm going so fast my floorboard fell off!"

What?

The original sentence can be read as he's sayin not to get more 1/4 tank, doing more than 1/4 will increase times.

which is what he most likely ment.

And then he's like "I'll go BACK to the guy that couldn't even bolt in a floor pan properly and get him to install more sensitive stuff on my car! This idea is foolproof!"

If this guy can't even turn a few simple bolts, you really want him installing NO2 or a turbo? Let's employ just a little common sense here. It's obvious that he can barely install his pants in the morning, and you're going to let him touch your car? Idiot.

Driving down steep hills makes your car faster, too. And it's cheap. Unless you don't have a hill. Then you have to buy one. Hills are expensive to make, and require lots of land.

+1 for driving it more often. I've honestly felt that as I get to be more and more familiar with the car/gearing/power band, etc, I have been able to squeeze performance out of her without making any mods... yet..
