I currently use Petro94, but might switch to Esso 93 because Aeroplan rewards are pretty enticing.

I tried using 91 esso (was on 91 shell before) and I got chirps. Same thing with petro 94 although petro 94, everything feels a lot smoother.

Honestly IMO chirp is hit and miss. I know guys who are have ran all brands of gas (shell/petro/esso/PC) and have zero chirp. Some people have chirp with 91 shell.. I only fill up at shell , because I live across the street and I worked for shell for 8 years or so.

not all Shell 91 v power is ethanol free. look for the sticker on the pump to see if the gas station is using ethanol free 91.

i'm on my first tank of esso 93, and 50km into it i'm noticing some chirping. i used esso 91 once before and no chirp.

I've ran shell and esso. No chirps with either but it runs better on esso. Come to think of it my car never chirped.

Every shell gas station in Canada is ethanol free gasoline.
Go to their website and you can see.
I'll see If I can find the data analysis sheet they sent me for their gas

That's weird ..When I was at shell 87 and 89 had a sticker saying "may contain xx% of ethanol" and 91 had a sticker saying "contains no ethanol"
