I thought they only came in small OD format, just for coilovers.

If, yes(they actually do come in a "lowering spring" format), do they have customizable and different rates to choose from?? I thought only RCE offers a "lowering spring" with the stiffest rates (4.5kg yellows and 5kg tarmc grays).

If Swift really offers "lowering springs" for the frs/brz in many different rates, please post a link or info where to buy and what they offer

I wouldn't mind getting a stiffer (6kg-8kg) high quality Swift lowering spring teamed with B8s
Idk about multiple swift rates but, I found some B8 struts on FT86speedfactory.com

Another good coilover that I completely forgot about that falls way under your price range, ST coilovers. $850, and allows a drop of .8 to 2 inches total, with 4kg/mm spring rate up front and 5kg/mm springs in the back.

Made by KW as well so quality is top notch. Most consider these as the best quality coilovers by far for under $1k. I'm personally going to go with these.

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
If you want to lower an inch or more and that's a priority, you'll want a coilover.

If your priority is handling at a low cost and want to keep things simple, our RCE Yellows are a good choice. Add Bilsteins or Koni Yellows to complete the package if you like. Only lower 20mm, but simple, fast, and fun.

Definitely go with the ST coils if you can afford to go that route. You will need to get adjustable lower control arms to adjust camber
