Thanks for confirming that I spend entirely too much time focused on wheels and tires. It's pretty bad that I was able to identify the wheels correctly based off a picture of part of a spoke and a small section of the lip.

Back on subject. I've had great luck with Evercoat's glazing putty. IMO there is a difference in the product that you get when you do pay a little more.

Keep us updated, I'm curious if Ray's gives you the color code for the wheels. FWIW, the paint and primer on those wheels are twice as thick as I've seen on any wheel thus making them prone to chips. I had the pleasure of polishing a few sets of these and want nothing else to do with 57dr's any more.

Yeah, unfortunately we live in the wrong part of the world to speak to anyone on the phone regarding any products made in japan, unless you're like me and work the night shift.

The product I have specifically used from evercoat is this. It bonds great and is easy to sand. I prefferr the "pumptainers" to keep the mess to a minimum. If you get any of it on you it'll quickly wind up everwhere. Make sure you mix a larger quantity than you think you'll need as getting the ratio correct for small dabs is darn near impossible and it either won't harden, or it'll harden too quick leaving you with more work than you started out with.

I'd grab a can a Matte Black Plastidip and just spray it. You won't even notice it.

TBH, I'd just get it all from English Color. They can match the paint on your rims and put it in a spray can for you to make it easy.

Since this isn't any physical damage to the aluminum itself I'd start with 240 grit and work my way up to about 600, 800 tops. Much finer and the paint won't grab, much coarser and you'll see sanding marks.

Be real careful though as the "flat" sides of the spokes are not flat...

Honestly, if you were close to Dallas I'd just offer to do it for you, you'll spend more time preping and cleaning than anything else.

its just the lip part that has the curb rash and a little damage on the spoke as pictured. i wanted to sand it down and then cover it with either evercoat you told me or something that works just as good. and then start sanding then paint. as for the paint id do what you suggested to go with English color but they dont have any stores close to me which sucks ass hahaha as they have 25+ stores and none by me. so im limited on options i guess you can say .
