FullBlown hit the limit tuning mine. On 91 with 355/275wtq it was fine, on E85 they couldn't get past 310wtq until they swapped back to the CM FX300.

I want a clutch that's a stage one feel and a lightened flywheel

Does exedy make one, that is a lightweight flywheel or am I looking at ACT I this case?

This is to everyone. I hope no one believes the limit of the clutch is running it close to its limit and expecting it to last really long.

Meaning, a clutch which limit is 300 wtq will have a shorter life span when run at 290 wtq

It will have a longer lifespan if run at 250 wtq, with more margin.

No ones denying that. I certainly don't expect the Exedy to last forever. If I can get 10k miles out of it I'll be quite happy, and will happily buy a new one each time than having to drive the FX300 through traffic every day

Well I'm on e85 and car feels fast as a bat outta hell
I know there is more on the table as Jeff Perrin is a pretty safe tuner, to boot, he's been candid with me about this doing me by remote and erring on the very safe side for me

I can only thank him for doing right by me so far
Good shop, great guy

However

I want the extra 15% that's out on the table on my plate under the right foot

It's with that that I hear all the good things about exedy but am looking at the act setup with lightened flywheel

So far it appears the exedy stg 1 is on oe flywheel

If that's the case it's act all the way
