on an auto you can't, it has a lockout that won't let you move it from park unless it has the key in and the brake pedal pressed...

Come to the Toronto area. Most people here can't even park head-in properly. At least you New Yorkers can park parallel badly.

There is an overdrive button on the place surrounding the shifter. You ply the cover off, and voila...

Damn,that's impressive.

I wish people parked well.
I park at the edge of a row, giving the person beside me plenty of room to stay between their lines and open their door...And they still park like shit.
