Camera man did pretty well, sitting in the back with the roll cage.

Sense the tone

ITB's cams and some nice race headers and non catted exhaust would turn this car into one hell of an eargasm. Probably right on the bumper of a cammed V8 (bumper pun intended)

I'm surprised no one has simply installed Weber carbs. They're actually good for a tad more power than ITB's, just not as efficient.

Throttle response from a carbed/lightened flywheel engine is as good as it gets.

Noob question: Weber to substitute port injection?

I agree about the response of webers, not to mention the sound!

I don't think they would be a good fit for the FA20 tho. You would have to do some funky things with the direct injection. Now ITBs with a staged top feed injector setup could be a good thing as you could use the direct injectors to maintain drivability.

What about the Super Street car at SEMA, any info on that? I want to actually see a video of one of these supposed ITB cars actually running.

Couldn't you just jet down the carbs and have the DI run up top?

Possibly. You would still have to meter the air going into the engine somehow for the ecu. Webers work on air speed while the ecu would have to be air mass so that may cause some issues. I am sure you could do it, I am not sure it would be worth the work tho.
