And yes engine replacement shows up on Carfax. It is just a fact of life. Some people will just move on top the next listing.

Depends. A short block repair with dealership documentation on an OLDER car with alot of miles ..... that is a good thing and would help resale.
This type of repair on a newer car (2013) with new car miles is probably going to hurt resale. |
