No we don't and that other guy is right, no reason to be calling someone a Princess in this case.

If you wished anything bad to happen in these types of circumstances, would you not "wish" that harm only came to the person drinking and driving?

It is terrible that this accident happened, it also seems like so many of them were not wearing seat belts (as 4 were ejected from the car) None of this is good news, being seriously happy that the person who was responsible had family members die due to his negligence is kind of sick. Wouldn't it be better if no one was seriously hurt and he/she learned a lesson and never did it again? Or if anyone was hurt, it was the individual who put everyone at risk?

Well sure there are degrees of things which I would like to see.

Ideally the drunk driver would die by himself without affecting anyone else. But since the drunk driver ALMOST NEVER dies in these cases, they should run down one of their loved ones, instead of someone elses.

Tragic story. I feel for everyone involved. Young person, sporty car, alcohol, etc. Nothing good can ever come from it.

Just tragic..

I honestly feel bad for the family, however if you're dumb enough to drink and drive AND speed it's hard to show a lot of sympathy. Thoughts?
Well, @Logical, thanks for posting ..... I don't get out to the non-northwest regional forums too much.

5 people in that car ..... they must have been small people.

Too bad the accident happened though.

Unfortunately, it shows that all the safety features in new cars, can't save people from bad judgement....

Which explains why most of them did not have their seatbelt on. Because three of them were so crammed into the back of the car that none of them could probably buckle in.

Which also explains how 4 of the 5 were ejected from the car. Insane. Alcohol, speed, not enough seat belts, cramming 5 people in a small car....I'm surprised 4 out of 5 came out alive to be honest.

No "safety feature" in the world can save you from stupidity, as much as the government would like to think so. I wonder how long it will be before Mr. Solis tries again?

Yes, it is a minor miracle that four people walked away from this. The driver was 22 and the article I read said the ages in the vehicle were 17-25. While the driver is 110% at fault for all of this, what the hell is the 25 year old doing letting all this happen around him/her?

That's what the officers were saying. They were very surprised only one died, as am I. I mean you can barely make out that it is an FR-S.

I guess this shows our cars are pretty safe.

Sadly people who drink and drive do it again. I lost a friend a few years ago due to someone driving drunk with having 4 DUI's already. He hit head on into my friends car and of course the drunk walks away without a scratch.
