Has anybody read Grimmspeed's finding on the stock snorkel?

It's at the very end. Kinda interesting.

I read that, I will hold onto my snorkel. Lots of R&D going into the dynamics of the stock intake system. Wonder how long it will take someone to create that amazing intake, but judging by many things I've read, it already appears fairly optimized. I could be totally wrong though.

He managed to gain 4 WHP at the top while losing around 15 lbs./ft. of torque through most of the RPM band. Again, not the HKS version, but close enough, I think.
The dyno does nothing to relate how the car feels now. Which is way more responsive at WOT. Sounds like a damn street bike too lol. I have my OFT coming soon so we will see what we can squeeze out of it before I mod my exhaust further. Again even though the numbers are lower on torque the car feels stronger after the mod. Lots of variables with dynos.

The TRD Griffin uses an intake duct in the nose cone that uses the whole frontal area rather than a specific spot like the provided OEM intake; however, it also appears to have a V-mount radiator for more efficient cooling as well.

What I'm saying is that they use an intake duct similar to this HKS one, but they're not funneling the air through a small hole on the side.
