The BRZ has the absolute worst windshield of any Subaru I've owned. I just had a rock chip repaired from a small piece of gravel, and on my way back home, I got 2 more chips. Seems like anything that hits this windshield causes a chip.

Never seen anything like it.

agreed 110%. My replacement windshield with maybe 10k looks like a windshield with at LEAST 50k on it.

Mine cracked out of nowhere too. I didn't notice it until it was too late since it was all the way on the top.

It wouldn't be covered, but I'm probably going to take my car to the dealer to see if they'll do anything. If enough people complain, maybe Subaru will stop installing POS windshields (doubtful but whatever).

On my 2013 Escape, I've had numerous rocks impact the windshield with no damage. On the BRZ, any pebble or piece of gravel that hits is pretty much a chip. Luckily, they haven't spread and become cracks, but it's only a matter of time. The crazy thing is these garbage windshields cost $500 to replace.

Yeah we should all just plan an exact day and bombard the dealership.. Hopefully mind doesn't turn into a long crack.
