Hmm... I was able to find a 10 series available at another dealer roughly 30 minutes away from me. Internet price says $30,410.00 for the 10 series w/ auto transmission. Seems a bit high to me, but at the same time I find that the dual climate control and push to start features will make it worthwhile. While I have you here considering you have a 10 series... May I ask how much you paid for yours?

Right now I'm trying to decide between the 2013 FR-S 10 series, or a 2014 FR-S.

Hi Drive .....

So, the time is getting close ......

As far as add-ons, here's my take.

If you want them all ..... right NOW ...... have them added at the dealership. It will cost you a bit more .... but they will all fit and be ready from the get go.

If your not sure of what you want and/or want to save some money .... add after market ones later.

Some like the spoiler, some don't ..... I personally like it; I think it finishes off the rear end nicely.

As far as intake and exhaust, if you're just looking for a more aggressive sound and a free-er flowing intake, a nameless axle back muffler and a K&N drop in air filter will give you that .... for about $700.

Now, I'm only going to say this once .... ..... read the owners manual .... yes, ALL of it ..... just not how to set the radio.

Have fun!

There are rumors about monogram series coming out. So, if I was you then I will hold on for couples of more months and see what happen. If indeed this series coming out, then you have the best of both worlds. Get all the features and benefits of 10th series and at the same time, pick whatever color you want. If that time, you don't want to go with it, then you still can get the standard 2014's one.

I like the oem spoiler, I'm glad I have it. But I just looked up the TRD/Five axxis ones and they look good too.

Does that 30,410.00 have any options like the paint protection film, etc etc...?

Interesting. Those links don't specifically say 10 series, but looking into the features and the pictures it does appear to be one.

Unfortunately I am not sure if it includes any options, their website is very unclear. I'll give them a call tomorrow. http://www.scion101.com/New-Inventor...7D2732339.aspx

Does the 10 series have any "pure pricing" that dealers must follow too?

Edit: Found another one about 25 minutes away as well ($30,159.00): http://fremontscion.com/newscioncars...3D2730085.aspx

u should be able to get ANY 2013 at a reduced price now, go with the 10 series if u like the color/options

the OEM HID/climate control/push start is worth it to me
that weird silver is pretty cool too

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I'm probably going to go with the 10 series, I like the color and the brz limited-like features that it offers. But 30k is kinda steep. I'm going to contact the 2 dealers and hopefully I can get it reduced a bit...

I also noticed that Scion is doing 1.9% APR on all 2013 models

10th series used to be $29,430 AT. it is discounted $2K, so I think it is a good deal.

None of the dealers around me have it listed at that pricing... its all above 30k+ on their website for the AT.

Regarding TRD performance parts, Toyota/Scion says:

"Accessories installed by the dealer after the new vehicle purchase are covered for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the accessory installation date, or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater coverage."

Despite the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, I find that comforting because I am not equipped to repair my car myself. This is why I plan to have my dealer install the TRD intake for me. I didn't find the TRD exhaust's aesthetics appealing, so I bought the Perrin 2.5" catback in a group buy here - I've been pretty happy with it.
