I had a Neon running consistent mid 14's with 140 whp and some well chosen suspension mods. Suspension can make a big difference in drag racing.

If you're running a bone stock car, stock tires even, then I'd say you're doing well. Otherwise your launch is killing you.

What mods do you have and what's your launch technique?

Banging times for the power your making.

To put things in perspective My Viggen has another 20+ whp and another 80ft/lb of torque, but at best puts down mid to upper 14's and traps at ~98-99mph ... Gotta love being torque restrected in 1st & 2nd gear and so much wheel spin that we only hook up in 3rd

Amazing what a few good mods and a competent driver can do with these cars
