Whiteout because that pearl finish looks great when it changes at different angles.
Also holds its own in nasty salty winters. My favourite colour is red, however, I wanted a slightly darker red. Less hot wheels colour. |

Would have loved a British racing green, but thats not going to happen to went with blue from there I had to choose between GBS and WRB, since my WRX is WRB went GBS. Kinda happy that it was only a first year color now.

Raven. Because it was the only MT they had. They had two sitting there, raven MT with the premium radio, tint, lip spoiler, or a graphite with all option, but auto.
If I had it all to do over again, it would be red, or white. My dd is red, and I love it. My genesis coupe I had prior to the FRS was white, and I loved that too (until a drunk driver smashed it at 3am while it was parked, RIP) Anyway...the raven is nice, but I hate black cars. They're too hard to keep clean (i'd rather wash a white car every day than a black one, they're more forgiving in my mind) |

White. Because until the 2014s rolled out, Subaru Canada only gave us 4 choices: WRB, Black, Silver, and SWP.
I just got rid of a black Celi - scratches and nicks show up too clearly in a white car. Didn't want WRB because for awhile, it seemed like every single sporty Subie was WRB up in Toronto. I liked the silver - easy maintenance, and it looked pretty good - but I had my mind set on gold/bronze wheels, and felt white looked better with them. So here we are. And yes: White is filthy in the winter (especially the back, where the trunk kinda carves inwards) |

Originally wanted a Raven but the dealer added like 2k to the price and the Asphalt on the lot just looked too good. Plus it had the options I was looking for

The colour selection simply isn't that great if you ask me. I wish there was a turquiose, light blue, or aqua blue colour. I would definitely have gone with a lighter blue if I had the choice.
There were three top colours when I got the FRS. Whiteout, Ultramarine, and Firestorm. But overall, I really wanted Ultramarine over the other two. Sometimes, I regret not getting whiteout. But I'm still very satisfied with the blue. I chose Ultamarine because I've never owned a blue car before. Plus, after looking through all the color compliations on this forum, the Ultramarine is the colour that struck me most. White was a very close second but the reason why I didn't go with whiteout is because I already have a white MR2 it'd be boring to have two white cars. I didn't go with red because I've owned many red cars in the past. As well, red cries out "look at me!" too much and I wanted something a bit more low key. I love the firestorm, maybe if I was 21 years-old. But it's a bit too much attention for me. So, the blue hit all the right buttons for me... I do wish sometimes I got whiteout though I still love the blue though and have gotten many compliments on the colour. Especially from the guys at the dealer when I bought the car. And for whatever reason, it's more rare than the other colours. After selling these cars for one year, I was the only Ultramarine blue to go through the dealership I bought at!
