I've seen bigger SUV's and buses and even my dad's truck get stuck in the snow this past week and I'm still going strong!
Dude, you're driving your car in this shit? Damn... don't you care about your paint? Rocks flying everywhere...

Bet the RWD is fun in the snow though!!!

Sorry, off-topic.

You're going to want to test drive some of those cars, as was suggested OP.

Even compared to my GTI (roughly the same price range), it's pretty minimalist.

- Bluetooth functionality is minimal
- No steering wheel controls
- No heated seats
- No heated mirrors
- No nav
- No xenons
- No headlight aiming
- Very basic MFD
- No moonroof
- No fogs
- No lumbar adjust

You could also say it's missing (although my GTI lacks these as well):
- Keyless start
- Leather
- Auto-dimming rear-view
- Homelink

You may want to look at the brz trim like I was talking about. That is the point of the last four posts.

If you look at my post you originally quoted, I'm clearly talking about the FR-S there. The OP is also talking about the FR-S.

The BRZ is less minimalist (especially the limited), no objection there.

The monogram series FR-S is also way less minimalist.

Get a BMW 1-series OR get a base FRS and luxur-ify it. I would go with the latter as it will be more fun to customize what you want.

Haha it's way too much fun to not drive in this weather!
As far as the paint is concerned, the entire front half of my car is covered in Xpel ultimate and the entire car is opti-guarded, and undercoated, and I'm running Blizzak WS70's that tear through anything. The paint will be just fine!

I can blast my car with warm water and it looks and beads up like my car was JUST detailed and waxed.

Well, the FR-S is a sports car, not an utility hatch.

I actually like the brz limited interior a lot better than the current BMW line up. Now if your talking about a e36 that thing has some style...

This is a matter of opinion. I think the FRS as a whole is juvenile and unrefined

I loved the E36. I drove two in the past. 318is and 330CI. I loved them both. In fact when I get outta the military I will get another one for nostalgia.
