My last car I had a reference point with the bottom of the mirror was in line with the curb in front of me I would be about 1 inch from it. Find a reference point if you can't get a good feel for things.

It would appear that this issue has been around for a while!
Those would definitely be a low cost solution! But they appear somehow to be more appropriate to some other cars! http://www.velosterturbo.org/forum/a...8cda_owtmk.jpg One can even get fancy depending on your taste. I am sure these would appeal to some: http://www.shrunkenheads.com/shop/im...ers-select.jpg But perhaps this: http://www.worth1000.com/entries/377137/1964-beetle This seems more appropriate and less obtrusive: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUh7q8oOXOA"]Mustang Curb Alert Front Air Dam Sensor Review - YouTube[/ame] http://ivsauto.com/site/products/curb-alert/ http://www.curb-alert.com/ At $150ish, better than a lip, but I am sure any parking sensor would work too: [ame="http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1/181-7531494-3533355?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=parking%20sensor&sprefix=parki%2Caps&rh=i %3Aaps%2Ck%3Aparking%20sensor"]Amazon.ca: parking sensor[/ame] Cheers
