6'6" I actually scoot my seat up a few notches when auto crossing, it allows me better control.

6'2" 190lbs here, and I have no problems with leg or head room. And while I love that the seats hug you, I still feel like they are too narrow, especially around the shoulders. Even down low I feel like the bolsters are too far inward. On long drives that results in a lack of lumbar support. And I'm in pretty good shape, with a 32" waist so I'm by no means wide.

Well, I'll give you the other perspective -- I'm 5'4" 120lbs, the seat is up almost all the way, but if I set it up higher, I'd hit when I turn around to back up. Back seats are fairly usable for me, though they're still impossible to get in and out of. Seat is pulled up closer to the steering wheel, which helps with rear access, but actually hurts getting in and out, as I'm closer to the door hinge. Car also feels a few hundred pounds heavy ( I know, I know, clearly I need to lose weight  ).

Just tape yourself getting in and out -- either you'll be relieved when you watch it, or it'll confirm your fears. Everyone has a different version of "fit", and you should definitely buy a car that "fits" you, whatever that means to you. It was one of the main reasons I bought this car -- the only car I felt that fit me like my Saturn did. That doesn't mean it won't feel like it fits taller folks too -- I see from the above that there are plenty of taller and heavier folk driving the car (and from my perspective, pretty much everyone is taller and heavier with the possible exception of the oompa loompas ), in the same way that I see a lot of tiny asian ladies driving the largest SUVs ever made -- those steps notwithstanding, I think they give up wearing skirts to negotiate the entrance and exit....

GL!

-Dave

PS: Good points on the seat -- the seat is too wide on the waist for me, fine in the shoulders, and too freakin' firm. YMMV

5'8" and no problems with seat. I have it lowered all the way down and have about an inch before I hit the back seat, so it's not really usable when I'm driving. At least not with me being comfortable

I'm 6'2", 215 lbs and have no problem fitting into the car; I would rate the driving position as being excellent, and I have the seat 2 clicks shy of being all the way back. The bolsters are a little snug for me on longer rides, but for my work commute and running errands it's just fine.

I'm 6' and the car fits me well. I don't have the seat all the way back even though I have very long legs. Also, I keep the seat all the way down and I have AMPLE headroom w/ a helmet on.

The only issue I have is getting in/out when I can't fully open the door. I always hit the door card w/ my shoes and leave marks.

Also its kinda funny when I crawl out and then stand up and the roof is even with my bellybutton.

Try sitting closer. The brz is my first MT car. When I transitioned from AT to MT, I initially positioned my seat as if it were an AT car, where my legs were basically fully extended to reach the pedals. This does not work in an MT car. I moved the seat a good 2 to 3 inches closer so that now my knees are slightly bent while driving. When I have the clutch fully depressed my leg still isnt straight. I find this to be the best way to position myself. Also I like the steering wheel as close as possible for better control.

6'3, 250 ish, long torso. Even after stretching the springs in seat and cutting plastic ties my head would rub the end of the roof bubble most of the time.

this was my solution. Initially i was a bit underwhelmed. After a month of dding the swap its been fantastic and has made the car far more enjoyable.
