I heard it was the new silvia. I guess no one will kno until i is here. It will be interesting to see. Nissan will either do something very big for themselves or hurt themselves. Either way, we all win.... more cars in the class to chose from.

So this will be a mid twenties "crisis" car? I am so sick of hearing about midlife crisis bullshit! I've been driving sports, and muscle cars since I was a young man! When I had my Camaro when I was 19 was I in crisis!? When I had my El Camino in my 20s was I in crisis. When I had my stealth in my 40s was I in crisis. Freaking asshole! If I'm having a midlife crisis it started when I was in my teens and has been going on for 35 years. I don't care if you run a car company or cook hotdogs on a cart on a corner, If you can't say something intelligent just shut your freaking mouth!

Well I guess when he is sitting in a BRZ it doubles the 0-60 and raises the COG about a foot. I can see where his hate comes from

Who am I kidding, no way that guy even fits in a BRZ

Just look how Nissan do their sale for their current 370z sport car for the late 20s group after the twin hit the market last year. There are number of Z, GTR, Porsche, BMW owners do have the twins for their other use.

I'm so glad Nissan is making it lighter while not trying to make it a torqueless wonder!!! I believe Nissan will have the best bang for buck 4 cylinder RWD sports car if that happens. Even if it is 29-30k it will be nice to have a fair amount of handling/power ratio.

Even if they do make something similar lighter w/ more power, we'd still probably out handle them any day.

Hate to say it but if they continue with the Nissan 'big bum' styling language it will still be just a car that fits the sports coupe RWD category, but still uninteresting.

I didn't like the Z after Nissan stopped production on 300ZX TT. The lack of a Turbo made me walk away. Because of this I went on a crazy car journey and ultimately falling in love with Subaru. I will always love Nissan but the 350Z/370Z really didn't capture my interest. I really think that the BRZ/FRS/GT86 is more like an old Z than the current models are. The GT-R is absolutely INSANE…

Haha well now we know the Twins have gotten Nissan's attention. We'll see what they do next. I'm hoping they'll steal some cues and create a car that's lighter and better to drive than the current 370z.

I think a new sports car from Nissan will be good for everyone. Hopefully lighter and tighter than the 370Z.
