I think we'll see the Ferrari-engined version.

(Just to let you know.. I'm pointing out the similarity shared by these two possible events, in that neither is likely to happen.)

So only 7 more months! Hopefully Toyota has some updates/teasers for us in the meantime

I think it's 19 months man. TAS is every 2 years, not 1 year.

Just a theory: why is Toyota not showing the production car yet? I think Toyota will wait till all this issue with the brakes and over all image is straighten out before they show new products, its quiet on the toyota camp cuz, they don't want to rattle whats been too much noise already, i wont be surprise if they wont attend any US car show right now,

You're right. However I still wonder why they drop Solara and SC so early, or maybe they sold them very few per month.

You mean Toyota Soarer? IDK, maybe people prefer Supra i6 twin turbo over i6 na or v8 for same price range? SC series is still goin'. iirc present one is SC430.

SC430 is not Soarer which was dropped long ago. SC still has one more year in JGT series, right.

The Tokyo Motor Show, which is commonly called the Tokyo Auto Show, is every other year and is similar to any other large "auto show" like NAIAS or LA. But the Tokyo Auto Salon, a JDM version of SEMA, is every year. I think the "Tokyo Auto Show" and TAS part is what confused everybody.

Lucky for us 2011 is a year where we get both shows.

I think we will see the Subie concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon which is held in January and then a production version of both the Subie and the FT-86 at the Tokyo Motor Show in October or November.

^^ are you related to that johnlira142 spammer that also joined today?

If not, stick around for a few months and do a lot of reading. This thread related to the insatiable desire we have for information on this great concept... and the long time before it is produced.

Perhaps English is not your first language... I found it hard to understand what you are asking...
