I've never driven on them before but if they're anything like the rs2's I know I'll love em. If it didn't rain so much in Sac during winter/spring time I would rock the RS2/3's all year long.

Although I love my Bridgestone RE-11A tires, I wouldn't recommend them for rainy days. With that said, have you looked into Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires? I've heard some great stuffs about their dry AND wet performance. Not to mention, they last quite a long time as well.

Actually I have, same place I first read about the RS3's http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...omparison-test. But from what I read on a few other forums, unless I am going to be tracking the car frequently I wont really need them.

I never knew about their longevity, I might have to look into that, maybe try them out next summer instead of the rs3's.

Holy shit. Crazy build. This should be a fun fun car when it's done. With the stock radiator you'll have heat issues trying to use your A/C at a light. I don't know how much better a larger radiator will be as I haven't got mine back yet. Will know soon enough.

Are you planning to e-tune while renting a dyno?

I have to voice my opinions on the tires as well. I had some 305/30 V12s on an old car, definitely felt a loss of grip compared to some decent 265s. Tires didn't impress. I've switched to all PSS all cars as well. Would love to try the RS3s though.

Yup, there's a shop not far from me where I plan on getting it e-tuned.

305/30/18's? What were you pushing with those? Will probably try the PSS next rainy season but for now I have a new set of V12's and V4's that I'am going to try and wear out quickly lol

So I ran into a speed bump with my build. Lets just say I have pieces of a clutch under my car and I will never do any sort of transmission work again. The build goes on I guess. Getting my car towed to NSR Performance to install another clutch.

Here are some pics of my build so far:

Coilovers:

ShortShifter:

what needs to be reused from stock shifter:

Aluminum drive shaft:

vs. stock

installed

Alternator

Headunit single din install
(sorry for the blur)

installed

Once my build is complete, I will take better pictures of everything and update the first post but for now all I got are phone pics.

Great build so far, just curious why you put the radio on the bottom. Do you plan on putting gauges in the radio spot?

I think he meant to say that IS the budget for his build.

You know, the same way as if you eat you are on a diet.
