Read the OP up until the point when the images weren't loading. Subbed to read after work. This part cracked me up though:

Nice pictures and documentation, its really cool to see so much attention to detail and enthusiasm about a car, I feel like that kind of attitude is much more prevalent in the FRS community then many others I've been in.

Nice build! I really was impressed with how those Enkei lug covers enhanced the look of the car. Thanks for sharing!

-VS- Yeah, the cover adds a lot of needed sophistication to the wheel, since it's a universal 5x100/114.3 setup. Last edited by m.box.design; 11-02-2013 at 02:30 AM. Reason: adjustment |

Oh to be young again!
So back in 2002, I was really into some micro r/c cars called Bit Char-G, or 'Microsizers' in the US. But unfortunately a mishap with a younger sibling destroyed my toy. So the other day, when my random ebay searches led me to r/c cars, I saw people were still selling Bit Char-G cars. Saw a nice set on sale, and I went ahead and bought it. Looking forward to playing with it! I'm also brainstorming on how I can make a GT86 shell for it already. 3D printer maybe? I could use some ideas! Pictures: ![]() Early Christmas this year! ![]() Unpacked. Look, so JDM with the japanese text! ![]() Front shot. ![]() Back shot. Sorry no side shots. ![]() ![]() Tire and suspension kit. For major grip driving or dorifto~! |

I have little RC cars that are similar to those! They were sold in Radio Shack about 10 years ago, not sure if they're exactly the same.

10 Years ago, there were Microsizers (re-branded Bit Char-G for the US) and Zip Zaps. Zip Zaps were a bit bigger. Microsizers/Bit Charg-s had interchangeable parts and lots of 'aftermarket', different rubber wheels, suspension, different 'motors' and such. |

12/1/2013 ![]() Sad news that Paul Walker passed away. As cheesy as some of
the Fast and Furious movies were, they were great times for any petrol head to watch for pure velveeta entertainment value. But I suppose the movies have instilled upon us that, overnight parts from Japan are the sh*t. And so, thank you mister Walker, as you've led the craze that has taken us simple folk by storm. Making us spend our hard earned moolah for some JDM goodies... straight from Japan. Updates later this week. #jizzedpants Last edited by m.box.design; 12-03-2013 at 02:22 AM. |

Trip to the Emerald City
So I recently took a trip up to Seattle, WA in my car. It's only 3 hours north of here, but I rarely make the trip. This is the 2nd time I've gone to Seattle with the FRS. ![]() Looks great from up here! ![]() Space Needle ![]() Oh snap! Is that my car? First FRS picture from the Space Needle! ![]() Don't tell McDonalds I parked in their lot. ![]() ![]() That ass though... Last edited by m.box.design; 12-07-2013 at 11:31 AM. |

Lust at first sight
They landed a week ago... but I didn't meet them until Tuesday. I finally found time to take a peak at them; thought I'd share a few photos. It's an exciting feeling, you know.. those feels. Kind of like holding a girl's hand for the first time, Or that first kiss, Or losing your virginity.. Okay, maybe not that elicit. But it's still a great feeling! So yeah, the good stuff: ![]() Like a sexy lady in lingerie. ![]() Striptease. ![]() Lemme get a little closer! ![]() Much clean. So JDM. All mine! Install will happen next week! Still awaiting my plug-n-play harness from @DeOppressorLiber Big thanks to @BRZPDX for being my smuggle man, pulled out all the stops to ensure that today, this man.. is a happy man. Update: Harness arrived and I finally got a chance to try it out. The harness makes the install so simple, no splicing, no re-pinning, nothin! Harness review can be found here. ![]() Completely unwrapped! ![]() Look ma, it's so easy! ![]() They work! So damn sexay!! Installed pics in a few days. Stay tuned! ![]() Last edited by m.box.design; 12-14-2013 at 01:06 AM. |
