I was at a wedding there about a month before the towers came down. Still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news, too.

Not going to say anything more that I'm thinking, because I want to keep the politics and religion off here.

No, I will say what I want but I realize this is a internet forum. What I said was racially biased and when I wrote it I wasn't thinking to offend anyone. But that guy was upset which means other will probably be upset as well. My intention was not to offend anyone but say that there is more than one side to every situation. I edit out the racially biased part to keep my message there and keep the point I was trying to make there (hopefully lol)

Just so you know, some people (like me) care. But:

- let's not have political discussions (it's a sticky on the top of this section!)
- above applies to EVERYONE!
- lastly: any big event in history needs to be taken in context. All those things you've listed (with the exception of perhaps the oil spill or fracking) have underlying political motives that go back 50 years or more, and it will take much more than a car forum to dissect properly.

And FYI america has a north and south so are you also grouping in south americans and canadians?

Yes I know "americans" generally refers to NORTH AMERICANS, i.e. people from the United States of AMERICA, but since it seems you are being pedantic I am too.
