I could see you having a little problem in the front, but with the tire you are wanting to run maybe not. Like I said the front are flat already so you'd have to pull a little bit if the camber didnt get you where you wanted. Again, I think the rear is possible with no fender mods (just camber) but only a test fit will know, which is why I had asked if you had tried yet. Didn't know if you already had the wheels/tires or if those are what you were looking at getting.
for my rear i have the same rim size as you but im running 265 and it does stick out. im on stock height but getting coilovers installed. i might need fenders rolled and camber adjustment?

You shouldn't have to touch the fenders. Mine appeared to poke pretty good, but when you get the coil overs installed and drop it, the rear cambers in pretty far, which should give you the clearance you need automatically. I will actually be taking some camber out of my rear when I get off my butt an order some adjustable control arms.

the other key thing is to roll the flare by the side markers in the front. the front is rolled flat but then flares out, those that want to run meaty tires, you will rub on that under hard turn in...ask me how i know.

fyi i'm running 18x9.5 +40 265/35 all around.
What camber are you running on the front and back?

Hey guys i just installed st coilovers and running 18x9.5 34 offset and running 245/40/18 tires and i seem to get a bit of rubbing. I have not get an allignment yet because i want the spring to settle so do you guys think a fender roll would be needed or would an allignment possibly fix it?

Where are you rubbing? Front or rear? I have almost the same wheel specs +38 and i have the same size tires. No rubbing at all with fa500 coils.

Where is it rubbing? Front or rear? Inside or outside? What kind of camber settings do you want to end up at after the alignment? How much is it lowered?

you probably just need to dial in more negative camber up front. those rears should fit fine without any issues.

i seem to rub on the front and rear when going 45 in a dip. i haven't got an alignment yet since i just lowered it in the front and rear a bit then sending it off to get the alignment since i wasn't sure if i wanted to be at that ride height.

how low are you, what spring rates, what are your damper settings, do you have sways, how much camber are you running.

all of this matters for sake of argument. my current alignment specs are -1.6 in rear -2.3 front .08 total toe-in the rear and slightly toe out the front, this is strictly for performance and not fitment. i don't rub-run a 265/35 MPSS. but i'm on a 40 offset with all corners rolled...offset is key to being able to be hassle free.

Hey Tackybrz, im a bit late on this thread but im really curious how everything turned out for you. I'm thinking of doing the same thing as you, 18x9.5 with a 25mm offset, but I'm hesitant on how everything will turnout. Do you happen to have any pictures of your brz when you had that setup or still have it? I haven't decided on the tire specs yet so if anyone has any input or advice, it'd be more than welcome. Thanks guys!
