I say take one for the team and bust in there, pop the hood and we will see if this has a motor or not.

I was wondering if it would be possible for the gas cap to be behind the Toyota emblem at the back of the car?

I was under the assumption that if this car in fact does not have an engine it would not need a gas door.

I hate to say it, but I'm betting the production version isn't there. Anyone think you would ever be disappointed to see the ED2, not me...

Look at the 6th pic inside the rim... that's my guess Quote:
This vid is bit crappy so you can't hear the engine rev, but driver does start the engine. I'm pretty sure some ppl who been here bit longer remember seeing this kind of vid when Toyota Auto Show happened. |

typically they will put in a small engine, just powerful enought to motivate the show car, so they don't have to push it everywhere. I'd be interest to know which engine they put it it, since the hood is so low, but I would imagine it's a 2.5 boxer or whatever was laying around. I'm guessing 2.5 because that seems to be the engine that almost all of the current subarus have...The gas tank is likely in the trunk for show reasons. Show cars these days have cords to plug them in so that the lights can operate all day and extra battery compartments, etc.
