You can't compare a bike to the frs. I have had several bikes and there is no comparison. The acceleration that a bike can provide is so much greater. For a. Road far, the frs is awesome though. I drove a friends first gen mx-5 and it was ok...the frs in my opinion is way better.

Still have her sitting in the garage, but I literally don't ride her anymore. The FR-S is just too much fun for me. It was my daily (driver?) rider for 2 years, and I guess the A/C has spoiled me since then, especially in this Florida weather.

Main reason I got the FR-S was that I needed to carry equipment with me for my new job, and I simply couldn't do it with the bike.

Hey Hmfrz. I remember your from the Miata forum. I never thought you would jump out of a Miata. I bought Old Bill's 06 NC with about 2200 miles on it. That car was detailed to the max. I'm 6'2" and fit in the FRS much better. I enjoyed the Miata, but like the FRS better. In many ways the two are very similar.

I came from Gen2 MR2 then S2000 then NA Miata then Mini Cooper with a few crotch rockets in between. The FRS is basically the best parts of the cars I've owned put into one. It's perfect.

Some thing has to go before I can get my FR-S. So, I have given up my R1, and keep the Shadow.

I love that R1, but I'm just smart enough to know I'm too dumb to own one.

I had an '04 Mazdaspeed Miata. I loved that car and would have kept it forever but we sold it to buy something more practical for Mrs. MarkS. And then, after some time, ended up buying the FR-S, which of course I also love but I do miss the Miata.

Have a bmw Z4 as my summer car and the fr-s is my Daily car. The FR-S does feel a little under power comparing to the inline 6 but the real fun is the cornering.
The FR-s is a great DD and still can have fun and cheaper for maintenance.

Had a 96 Miata. Well, technically still have it, but I'm parting out all the good stuff. I was planning on keeping it but when my CR-Z was totaled and I got the BRZ it seemed pointless.

I really liked some parts of it. Mostly the custom ones. Oh well.
