You've obviously never owned a S13 240SX, whose dashboards are prone to crack after less than 10 years.

I think the shortest time period I saw was 8 years, or 7. A 1993 MY cracking in 1999.

No I never owned a 240sx, but I've also never seen one with a cracked dash. Maybe its just our climate here.

I have Suntek CXP full window tint on my car for the UV blockage. I use Zaino tire treatment on very limited areas of my car...tires (duh), dash, and trim. It has a UV blocker in it because DAMN it's sunny and hot out here!

303 Aerospace, it can be bought locally at any West Marine. I use it on both of my cars, the BRZ and my Tacoma, the Tacoma has a plastic dash much like the BRZ and after 7 years there is still no sign of fading or cracking and it's still as shiny as new. I didn't used to have a garage so it used to live outside year round in the bright sun.

303 Aerospace is great for the dash. I live in 100+ degree weather and i use it for the interior and especially the dash. I've used it on my past vehicle and zero cracking or fading.

The upper dash in this car appears to be a self skinning polyurethane foam, with a high amount of carbon black. It should be very resistant to UV degradation. If I were you, I would just wipe it down with a dry micro fiber cloth.
As far as the plastic (non soft touch) portions, it is mostly TPO which is very tolerant to heat, but scratches easily. If you want to remove some scratches, you can use a small propane torch to "heal" it. Just pass it over the scratch very quickly or it will burn it. We use this method to rework parts that are scuffed at the facility I work at. Try this at your own risk. ..
