Just get that build list squared away, then start buying the parts & stacking them in the garage…

Drive the hell out of the car until it is no longer in warranty (which, if your build list is anything like mine, might take all of that time to get all the parts), then take a few weeks off of work & get to wrenching…!

I love the stock rims, but must say, buy rims you want and grab some JDM tips to hold you over until you fill your coffers back up for the exhaust you want.(Loud exhaust on what everyone knows is a 4 banger is just too rice. - my .02)

I would do wheels/tires. Exhaust won't get much by itself. Headers and tune will get the most gains.

But when it comes to engine work, I would just do it all at once. No need to lift the car to put an exhaust and header on 3 separate times when you can just wait and buy it all and swap it all at once.

That's just my opinion though.

Dont get rims unless you have money for lowinging it. After market rims on stock hieght looks dumb. So i guess it depends how much money you have to spend. Rims tires and coils will cost atleast 2.5 grand, exhaust will cost you around 800

If you can only afford one...tires. Exhaust and rims are just bling.

Exhaust... It is exactly what I chose. I like a2cpc's suggestion, but I would wait until you NEED tires to upgrade them because it will be more cost effective. As for the exhaust it will improve the look of the rear of the car since the North American tips we were given are embarrassingly small. Also, cost is less, not only will you see the exhaust but you'll hear it, and get a small power bump. Win+win+win+win = Exhaust

Wheels + tires. Mainly for the tires. Arguably the best bang-for-the-buck performance upgrade on this car.

Exhaust is nice too. Looks better, sounds better, and adds a bit of power. But if you like to push your car in corners, I'd go with wheels + tires first.

Thanks for all the input guys!

Yea, it's a hard decision. Thinking of leaning more towards an exhaust now though. The tires are still pretty new with only ~4000 miles on them and after reading some reviews, it'll take about 4 months for Forgestars to get here since they custom make them. Not sure I wanna wait that long right now haha. And since the stock exhaust is shizz, I'll upgrade that first.

Well said... This is another reason why I went exhaust first. If I'm going to make the move to 18's then I feel I need to also have something to adjust that hight and rid any hideous amounts of wheel gap/ride hight that exist.

Well, how much do you have? With wheels, you'll need at least a set of springs to complete the look. Wheels alone (especially F14's) should cost you quite a bit more then just the exhaust. That plus springs is a decent amount of change. Definitely changes the look of your car giving it an amazing stance though. Was my first mods on my Mustang. But with My future BRZ I'm already setting money aside for everything I need. So I can do everything I want as soon as I get it.

My opinion for you though, try doing springs and the exhaust. Will give your car a bit better stance and sound better.
