Doesn't matter how fast it is, still a Corolla with a body kit.

So... what makes a car cool then? Looks? That's an opinion thing. Fastness makes up most of coolness to me. This car has huge sleeper appeal, which I think is cool too. This is a cool car.

Yeah it's so sad.....

Imho the new high performance ones have to much "bling-ish ness" on them, you can definitely tell they are catered to celebrities who want the entire restaurant to look at them when they arrive, not be subtle

The old school astons and "base" models were/are utterly absolute zero

The Corolla coolness factor goes like this:

AE86 (Corolla GTS): Cool
2005-2006 Corolla XRS: A step above uncool, but not quite cool enough to be taken seriously.
Every other corolla in existence up to the present: Not worthy of being mentioned anywhere near the word 'cool'.

The 2014+ Corollas has potential to be cool though.......

I voted "cool" because I thought we were voting from our own perspective, not what other people probably think is cool. If I had known that, I'd have definitely voted uncool or seriously uncool. But... looks like it's going to be determined as uncool. The regular Joe doesn't even know what a Lotus is, they surely won't appreciate or have any clue about a 2ZZ Corolla.

Agreed. The ae86 was a total shitbox. It took 20 years and a bad anime craze to make them cool. Oh, and people with a ton money and bad ass engines laying around.
