Hopefully not. I can just see a potential thief being more persistent if it is heled with screws wondering why he can't get it and scratching up the paint trying to pry it off. Luckily the BRZ fender garnishes are uglier.

I was thinking the same. I'd rather they just take the inserts than damage the body/paint.

That navigation UI looks exactly the same as the one Pioneer uses in all of their head-units. Which is good, well I like it anyway.

Heh. I was just showing the photos to my wife and explaining how I thought perhaps that was a sound enhancer for the cabin and she stopped me:

Her: "Wait, what? They put something in there to make it even louder?!"

Me: "Well, it ought to be only noticeable at high engine speeds, but yeah. It's a little silly..."

Her: "So guys that buy this type of car want to hear the engine more than listen to their woman."

Me: "Uhhhh"

Her: (rolling eyes) "Yeah, you guys wouldn't want to hold any sort of conversation anyway."

Great pics! It's nice to see the dimensions for the trunk with the seat down and up, should't be a problem to fit moderately sized items in there.

Just that we have no idea where they are gonna put the optional subwoofer, how it's gonna fit, what size it will be, etc.

I thought I saw somewhere that it was going to fit in the left corner of the trunk kinda behind the lights. Was I dreaming?

Edit: went hunting and while it's not clearly stated, since these two posts reference a 10" subwoofer, which according to current Subaru descriptions, appears to be the trunk based model, I think that where I got the impression.

I can only hope, those things are ugly, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if I had to plug up the 4 holes with a bit of bondo and paint and have a smooth blank space there instead of fake vents.

Sadly I don't live in a big city so such crimes and car thefts are a rather alien concept to me.
