OP said the hood was light...how about the trunk? I apologize if it's been officially stated that it's aluminum, but I can't remember an instance of that whereas a lot of people comment on the light hood.

I was also at Keene Subaru today and can definitely confirm the lightness of the hood. As far as the trunk goes, it's hard to judge the weight. Due to the struts helping out, lifting it for the first few inches before the struts take over, it felt light.

Someone needs to bring a magnet next time there is a hands-on.

I like how the trim ring around the tach has notches at every 1000rpm. It probably doesn't help visibility at all, but it's a nice touch.

How did the overall uhm... I guess workmanship feel? Anything seem loose? Badly fit? I recall in one other photo, the door handle looked flimsy.

Isnt that handle strap just a seatbelt holder thing? Just snap it back in place?

Hey DEC1, sorry if I'm hijacking your thread. Don't mean to step on any toes.

Everything feels very nice and firm, door handle did not feel flimsy at all. Probably the only flimsy-feeling thing was probably the paddle shifters on the auto, they reminded me of the paddle shifters on my Xbox racing wheel.

I didn't see it featured in any of DEC1's pics, but if you guys are talking about the seatbelt guide in the top left corner of the driver's / top right of the passenger's seat, then yeah it just hangs onto the seatbelt and yes, it has a snap. I find it preferable to cars that have magnetic ones as it seems like those are always coming loose.

no sorry...I should have taken one...its kind of a feeding frenzy...you only realize what you didn't look at or what you didn't shoot when you get back home!

and it wasn't the snap end that was un-done...the strap was pulled out of the riveted side.

no problem at all!...we all owe you big for the driving review you did...and I would agree it all felt well put together...nothing flimsy..especially considering this is a pre-pro car...didn't see any evidence of that at all. I wish I had put the seatbelt on...have no idea if its comfortable or not.
