Well only way to know for sure is to wait for a test drive.
In person they were too big for my taste/needs. Visibility is more limited with the slanted rear glass, and its tight to get a look out the side. But the mirrors all work fine to see behind/around the car.

Nope, sorry. The driver and passenger window is big (aka regular sized though), unlike the yucky windows on the Bumblebee Camaro car.

I owned a 370Z with nasty blind spots, simply be more careful, deal done.
know how to set the mirrors and look before you merge right n you'll be good to go.

Did you feel the side mirrors were a decent enough size?

... BLindspot is pretty bad.

All pillars are huge. Nothing compares to my first Prelude (1988), which had the best visibility next to a convertible lol.
Ahh, there they are! I've been searching through threads for the last 5 minutes trying to find them! Thanks for posting them. That second pic is about as good as visibility is gonna get from the drivers seat...

They were fine mang, dont worry. It's just the rear and side vision when you turn your head.

Yup. Just about as good as it gets hahaha. Guess we'll just have to deal with it though, cuz Exige didnt even have a back window LOL.

Damn that second pic is nasty... I'm sure quite a few of us have seen how badly the Camaro was bashed because of its blind spots. Hopefully the Zx6's bigger window size makes up for it. View out the windshield was pretty nice though imo, with the hood so low.

Somehow I get the feeling that I'll be able to use the rear side window, as I usually have the seat back or reclined a bunch. In my Miata with the soft top up, I have trouble seeing to merge. Hardtop has zero visibility issues though as I can turn my head to the LEFT and see out the rear window to the lane NEXT to me.

Hoping the BRZ isn't bad bc with good visibility you can weave in and out of traffic- I mean DRIVE SAFER.

My IS has the worst blind spot of every car I've owned. I don't think this will matter at all.

/thread <--- just kidding, I've wanted to do that since I first saw it on this forum.

Anyway, C&D ran this story a couple of years ago. I had learned to adjust my side mirrors that way about 15-20 years ago at a Skip Barber driving school. Once you get used to it you'll never want mirrors back the old way. Only drawback is when you borrow other people's cars, you will need to mess with their mirrors... they get really mad at you.

Side note - if this is your first car or your first sports car, or if you're nervous at the prospect of driving a fairly neutral RWD car, consider something along the lines of a Skip Barber driving school (way before you do a HPDE). I would say it probably saved my life at some point, and it was a ton of fun. They teach you a lot of basic car balance and handling but not in a boring way at all.

Adjusting mirrors for blind spots can be dangerous on a highway in CA. Once you adjust the mirrors so you can't see the edge of your car, you create a thin blind lane right around where the lane markings are. Too narrow to really be dangerous, except for the motorcycles that fly down that narrow gap between cars when you're in traffic. Inside rearview is useless - all you see is the big SUV behind you. If your side mirrors are angled out at all, potential for a lane change fatality.

(I adjust my mirrors so the side of my car takes up 5% of the mirror. Some idiots adjust it so half their car is visible.)

Those blind spots do look pretty bad, but it's all about the angles, seating position, mirrors, etc.

Can't wait to finally get into one and see how it drives and if I can even get comfortable in those seats.
