does anyone have a defective set that didn't need to get sent back? if anyone is interested, i can try to open them up to take a look at them, also possibly see if it's worthwhile to upgrade them to name brand superflux led's.

though, from the look of it, the tails use 5mm led's, and very likely cheap ones at that, so failures within 3 months is really commonplace for such low quality..

Hmmm, these are the lights I'm looking to get ... I hope it's not a common problem with this design. They are the, according to the vendor, only Australian third party legal lights I've seen available.

To all your concerns,

We contacted the original Valenti manufacturer in Taiwan.

They admit the issue and will send out the replacement.
However, they are now out of stock for this tail lamps and next production batch will only be ready till mid of November.

I will arrange to send out the replacement once they are ready from Valenti.

It's also worth noting this isn't isolated to just panson, I've heard other vendors with similar issues, since I assume they all seem to come from the same place in Taiwan.

Just mentioning since it seems like the conversation has shifted towards panson, even provoked a response.

I was only reporting my experience, I didn't want to offend anyone.
It's for sure a common problem from Valenti and not from the vendors..

Got mine since around May (also provided by panson), and they still work fine. However I was in the first badge of the "JDM" wired Lights, not in the USDM wired Lights most of the ppl have on this forum.
I would still (and acutally do) recommend them, even tought they may be a bad badge made. Also Panson is a great seller and customer support was always quick and easy when dealing with him

Right side is now having issues too. At least I should be getting both in November together now...

It's not just the left lights.

I got all three Valenti tail lights and am having light issues with each one so I'm getting them replaced with smoked ones.
