When I had my Katzkin Leather installed they bumped my trunk with the bottom one of the chair rails. It was a chip two millimeters wide one centimeter long. The Installer took it to the top body shop in the county. They paid for everything but I saw the bill with repairing, with materials and repainting it was $900. So I'm thinking you got a really good deal.

$400 is a pretty minimal price at a body shop.
