I attempted my tail light film only to realize I got the wrong kind. It was the peel and stick version, so it was much harder to work with. I guess you can say it didn't turn out to well and these tails are very hard to work with because of the curves and the aero bump on the side. Mission FAILED. I will buy some more, but of the right kind next time.

Because it kept sticking and not allowing me to really move it around, I ended up getting creases like crazy. Even sprayed water to help but once it touched it just stuck and I couldn't wiggle it around at all.

In other news, here's a teaser of the wheels

I managed to stuff a set of 18" wheels in the car.

Hopefully my lug nuts get here by the end of the day so I can put the wheels on. If not, they'll be on as soon as I get them. Stay tuned

I decided that having the day off, I would give it a nice wash, clay bar the entire car and wax it to give it a nice shine.

The lugs came in finally! I managed to put the wheels on. So far I'll be on stock ride height until I get springs soon, hopefully it shouldn't take long.

Got some used eibach pro kit springs, but they didn't come with the replacement bump stops or dust covers. Once I score a set of those I'll be slapping those on. Hate the 4x4 look

Been a while since I updated!

The weather has been nice lately and I took a drive down PCH and had a little fun.

I had to get my car smogged to register it here in California.

After smog was done, it was time to put on the exhaust. Invidia N1

Terrible pictures, I know. So far I really like the exhaust. I have my catless test pipe still sitting in the garage. I wanted to drive around without it for a while so I could really compare a before and after. Doesn't drone much, and I was honestly thinking it would be louder up top. Maybe I miss my WRX's turbo a little bit. The engine noise is so loud in the cabin that the exhaust can't be heard in high RPM range.

I gave her a quick wash and thought this was a pretty cool picture from above

I also got my side markers in and put them on. Looks 10x better over the stock amber eyesore

I am still waiting for my shift knob, but will update once I get it.

Springs are next on my list. I was thinking about going 1.4" but now that I'll be working in the LA area, I think a 1" drop will be a better option for me.

I like those wheels man! How do you like that Invidia set up? If you want to stick with a 1" drop option, I really dig the Swift springs, or Hotchkis (which I run on my FRS). You can't really go wrong with Eibachs either.

Thanks, I love these wheels as well. Although I may do a different setup later. Still deciding if I'm going to turn into a wheel whore or not

The Invidia has been great so fat. Not too bad when cruising around. It is a little quiter than I expected when you really get on it. Although, a majority of the noise I hear is from the engine through the firewall.

I was looking into the swifts, but I've seen them at my local meet and they look more than an inch. Great looking, so I'm still deciding at the moment. I also have a friend getting the pro-kit, so I'll see what the drop is like once he gets his wheels (the same as mine). Also, Christmas is near, and my girlfriend might be really nice to me this year
