Shop it against getting the Subaru 4-pot/2-pot brakes. It's looking like they might be direct bolt-ons.

The STI Brembos with GroupN rear rotors might be another option as well.

Calipers on the WRX/STI are on the rear of the wheel. On the BRZ they are on the front of the wheel.

I was about to say what space said about the placement, but if they come out with STi brembos for it, like they have on the concept, then maybe. But it doesn't look like those will be available just yet. TRD makes good performance parts, so I wouldn't expect a huge difference over the TRD brakes then the STi ones. And seeing that they are the same car, then the TRD ones will be a direct bolt on. Just paint over the TRD logo, haha!

I haven't taken a really close look at rear subaru calipers lately, but I'm pretty sure you can swap the sides to keep the bleeders upright.

IIRC, the TRD brake kit was a 6 piston front and a 4 piston rear. If that's the case than I'd expect them to be pretty pricey. I know the big brake Brembo's like this for the WRX/STI are almost $7000 for front and back. I like the idea of having massive brakes on this thing, especially for what I plan on doing which is a lot of time at Miller Motorsports Park, I'm just not sure if that would be overkill. I could go with a set up like the STI for half the price and it would be just fine with upgraded pads and two piece rotors.

Like everyone else, I like the duckbill spoiler, I'm not sure if I'm going to go with something like that or an APR since I'll be tracking mine.

I guess we'll see what happens, it's been my experience mainly with the Subaru community that the SPT stuff is over priced for the quality of the product. For example, $265 (IIRC) for a short throw shifter? Come on! I'll go aftermarket. I'd like to see what comes out and then I'll make up my mind.

The thing I'm most excite to see is who develops a kit that will address the high compression ratio motor and turbo all in one. I'd love to see a set of pistons and a GT3076R turbo. Can you imagine what 400 WHP would feel like on a car that's 600 lbs lighter than the STI. Pure love right there.

It would be overkill :-)
I don't know why they didn't offer the a cheaper 4 pot brake kit instead of the 6. You hear about over-tyring a car, but that TRD kit is definitely a case of over-braking.
