Both the Paramus Mark Mall http://www.paramuspark.com and the Garden State Plaza Mall http://www.westfield.com/gardenstateplaza/ are closed on Sundays. They both have huge parking lots.

You may want to find a beater to practice on, or have your dad drive your new car (assuming he's practiced at driving MT) for the first ~500 miles to let the clutch break in a little bit before you try to take it out. That would be a torturous wait, but its better than glazing a new clutch.

Yeah thanks for the ideas guys.

Lol yup my dads been driving stick since the 70s so were good on that. But I think were going to buy a beater wrangler or something first so I can practice.

honestly these cars are so easy to drive, its just understanding how the mechanics work then you'll get the hang of it really fast. ikea in paramuz is usually not that packed at night so you can go there.

i'm in Edison, there are plenty of lots here, i'd be more than happy to give you a few pointers if you have questions at all!

The big commuter lot across from home depot tends to be very empty on nights and weekends. Believe me I work there.

I definitely understand how it works, it's just getting the actual feel of it and getting used to the new movements of my left foot and right hand I really want to get better at.

Edison is around 40-50 minutes away from me though but hey I'll definitely hit you up if I need any help!
Thanks!

I think this car is great to learn stick. It has one of the softest clutch feel in any car I have driven.

Yeah I was really surprised when I pressed down on it in the dealership car. It's like pressing on the gas almost.
