If you need to get from the 15 frwy to the 5 frwy(coast) try taking the Del Dios Hway run, I do after 3pm because the 56 is BS and the 78 is a long drive (and usually just as bad).

Its not a crazy run, but it sure beats sitting in traffic ..

I must be the only person to not find Palomar mountain not fun, its got too many closely connected curves to build up any speed.

Highland valley is a little sketch especially at night because of how many blind curves there are and how skinny the lanes can get. Try to do that run with someone who has done it before or run it several times at a lower speed.

Palomar is plenty of fun. If you could compare it to anything, its almost like Irohazaka on Initial D. Lot's of curves but you can't really build that much speed. SD86 did a run for it during the last full moon and it was plenty of fun with minimal close calls. Besides that sheriff at the bottom of the mountain.
