Where did you hear this? I figured it would be the other way around since the JDM model has bigger tips.

The bigger tips are an option or something...
There was something posted that said the Japanese one had 197bhp while the US one had 200, because in Japan noise regulations are tight. |

Tada confirmed it. USDM would get the "better sounding exhaust" that would also bump hp to 200hp instead of 197hp. You can search the forum for it. I think we talked about it during the fall sometime.

That hasn't been confirmed yet. All the USDM estimates I've seen are inline with the JDM estimates + 11.88 gallons (73.062 lbs.) [90% full tank] of gas.

JDM version gets stitched padding surround around the door speakers and sides of the center stack. USDM gets hard plastic.
