I believe RS-3s run a tad wide. For that tire, 215 is probably plenty of grip on this car anyway.

Same here, but on 17x8. Excellent tire for DD and "spirited driving."

Can we see some pics from different angles for these other tire sizes on the stock rim?

Yeah, I really like how it looks. I think most people on here tend to go with maximum wheel width for a given tire size while I typically like the meatier look of minimum wheel width for a given tire size.

I wanted larger tires without changing the rims.
I am not a fan of the OEM tires at all.

well depending on what you are trying to accomplish that can be a good or bad idea. if you want to change your tires, it is likely the best compromise to keep the same size and just buy a better tire. that way your performance increases without giving up any of the fun natured characteristics we like. adding extra mass and sidewall flex isnt a good idea. its a good guideline to pick whatever tire size you want and then pick the biggest rim to fit the tire, not the reverse.

I am buying some 225/45/17 DZ101's for now so when I get a bigger 17 inch wheel I don't have to buy another set of tires

235 is the widest you 'can' go... at least thats what these guys did.
Whether you can reliably run that size tire on a 7inch-wide rim for 20K miles is another matter though.
