Kind of makes me glad that I have only run 5 tanks or so through.
@robispec - Out of curiosity how many miles are on the car? How many of those mile are track miles vs street driven? |

I assume flex fuel will help delay this because you can run enough of a blend of pump gas and ethanol?

This was inevitable... @arghx7 warned us.
Not really? Increasing ethanol content past 10% will increase deterioration; using a lower blend of ethanol will still deteriorate faster than regular ethanol content gas so stating that it would "delay" deterioration is not exactly correct. |

See now why I buy a car to test for potential racing generated "FIXES" to the oem "shortfalls" for track use? We get ahead and stay ahead of the abuse overuse cycle. Yes it costs money buy robispec parts ! ROFLMAO... Thanks RObi |

I find this thread a little astonishing. This car is designed for E0-E10 with a 91 or better octane rating. I thought it was common knowledge that you're not suppose to run E15-E85 in a car that isn't designed for it. Please excuse my incredulity but did nobody read their manual?

Yes and this was brought to a head faster when we installed and tuned for a FI (inovate) option the DI's are almost at their limits with the current system demands.

Right, I was just wondering specifically how they get around this issue with the fuel filter. It seems like it would be hard not to use adhesive when manufacturing it.

What're the chances of bypassing the intank filter and putting an inline filter on the fuel supply line?
