I'm the same way. At first I was team shark-fin too.
But the more I look at it, the more a small antenna looks better.
Makes it look more sporty.

+1. I installed the original Beatsonic sharkfin since they were the only ones who produced a 10 Series match. Reception in my rural area was poor and the chunky design wasn't really attractive. I started hating it so decided to remove it and found out that it would require a heat gun and risk damaging the paint on both the fin and roof so left it on.

If I had a do-over, I'd just keep the old school RC antenna and put the $115 toward a drop-in filter, synthetic brake, trans and diff fluids.
