Looks like something is coming through your paint IMO.

OP, did you ever get it figured out? Whiteout since first day of availability here -- no yellowing. I'm in Chicago so should have a fairly similar environment to you. I'd be might put off to discover that on my car, I feel for you!

Been caring for it with ONR + Klasse AIO+SG, with touchless washes during winter.

Bumping this up. I've been getting yellow stains on my rockers as well, limited only to the part with the thicker coating, nowhere else does it seem to come through. It's very discouraging.

I would advise against using the magic eraser. My fiance has a white '05 tC and we used the magic eraser along the same edge of the car since he purchased it. The magic eraser is microabrasive and initially doesn't seem like you are doing too much damage. However, over time you will end up taking off the top coat/paint and given the area comes in a lot of contact with dirt, water, and grim from the roads may cause the paint in that area to deteriorate faster. His tC looks like it has been through a sand blaster and he has washed his car at least 3-4 times a month since purchasing the car in 2006.

My vote would be for clay bar. I've had "yellow" spots on the fangs of my bumper in the spring/summer here in central Florida. Never could figure out if it was from pollen, dirt from the roads, bird droppings, etc. Using the clay bar lightened these spots, but never got rid of them. However, I did notice that over time (a few weeks) the yellowing did fade and eventually was not noticeable.

Yeah mines still there, pretty much gave up and decided not to care. I did bring it to the dealer and they tried to clean it but didn't help. They documented it and that's it. And yes, +1 on the comment of not to use too abrasive stuff cuz I have a small spot where I went a little too deep
